Parents and residents around St. Peter’s Community Primary have organised to campaign for a safer crossing on Church Road- at the bottom of St. Peter’s Road.  They are calling for a pelican crossing (PEdestrian LIght CONtrolled Crossing) to control the ever increasing heavy goods traffic to allow students and residents to cross the road safely.

Meeting in the pipeline Chair of the Friends committee, Mike Daley, has asked our local police chief to attend a public meeting to talk through how best to deal with young troublemakers currently making a nuisance of themselves in the park.
