Good news from the Parks Dept: work is due to start on improving the playground area on Monday October 31,2016. For the month following, the playground will be closed. But afterwards it will be much improved… though not transformed! The bulk of the finance for the work is coming through the Council from the Section 106 funds provided by the developers of the new housing estate. It was not a huge amount though. But in Spring we hope to add even more equipment…. so please keep up your support for the Friends. Thanks.
